The European Court of Human Rights is an international court established in 1959 and based in Strasbourg,France. The Court adjudicates individual or State applications claiming that the civil and political rights set forth in the European Convention on Human Rights have been violated. . Its judgements are binding on the Member States of the Council of Europe. The Court’s case-law makes the Convention a living instrument for protecting human rights much more appropriately.

This time the court will hear an individual application concerning mandatory vaccination. The applicant complained about the consequences of non-compliance with the general statutory duty in France to ensure routine vaccination of children against diseases that are well known to medical science. In this case the participants will be involved in conversation abou a topic that becomes popular in the last a few years and try to examine the Court’s view about the issue concerning the Article 8 of the Convention.
